This is a case where economic reality is clashing with political feasibility, and they all need to work something out behind closed doors instead of carrying on a dispute in public.

It's too late to remain silent. Ryan has proposed and Trump has accepted. It is time to speak up. Trump only backtracked today because of the strong reaction from we conservatives. Keep it up. Speak now or forever hold our peace.

I'm not saying we should be silent ... just that it does no good to have Trump and the GOP Congress engaging in a public battle over this.

Let's leave all political principles and partisan politics aside. What made ObamaCare such a laughable joke was that it didn't even accomplish what the people who passed it said it would accomplish ... and it's been falling apart just like everyone who opposed it said it would.

The Republicans in Congress -- and President Trump, if he is complicit as well -- will come off looking like stupid, tone-deaf morons if they pass an "ObamaCare repeal/fix" law that doesn't even fix what's wrong with ObamaCare at all.
