That supposed FBI investigation of collusion with the Russians? Never mind . . . Theyre in retreat now. You may have missed it amid President Trumps startling Saturday tweet storm, the recriminations over president-on-candidate spying, and the Jeff Sessions recusal a whirlwind weekend. But while you werent looking, an elaborate narrative died. For months, the media-Democrat complex has peddled a storyline that the Putin regime in Russia hacked the U.S. presidential election. There is, of course, no evidence that the election was hacked in the sense that the actual voting process was compromised.

On that note where is Hillary? And obama?! In hiding?
I was watching Bill O last night when Newt laid this out for Bill. At first O'Reilly tried to argue but then, the lightbulb went off in his head! Was fun when O'Reilly acknowledged that Newt was right then used this against his next Dim guest.
WOW Pray for the Trump team’s safety.
Yes, he (McCarthy) and co-nevertrump Levin are quickly attempting to climb aboard the Trump train.
Your comment is spot on.
Were those posts from Bannon’s official/verified account?
Worth repeating. Again. And again. And AGAIN!
NeverTrumper Andy still dances all around the true reality: That Trump’s team KNEW they were bugged early on, either through private security sweeps or Secret Service sweeps; that there WAS “hacking” of the DNC and Clinton; and that Trump’s charge didn’t come because he “blew up” or got angry because he has known this for a time.
It came because he saw ZEro was NOT going to honor his statement in the White House to effect an orderly transition and was in fact running a shadow government. I suspect Trump delayed coming to that conclusion as long as possible out of respect for the OFFICE.
Once he decided this was war, HIS STATEMENT LEAPFROGGED MONTHS of Zero’s leaks that were designed to undercut and immobilize Trump. It’s amazing that still McCarthy and Hayes (another neverTrumper who never quite ‘gets there’ with his analysis because of his blind hatred) don’t understand how smart Trump is and that 99% of the things he does are deliberate or so perfectly instinctive that I guess it makes them jealous.
It was brilliant on several levels.
That’s Bannon’s face, and ABSOLUTELY Bannon’s sentiments. But I don’t know if it’s a legit page. I doubt he would be allowed to post that, but you never know.

Never-Trumper Andy trying tutu stay relevant.
It does not appear to be an official/verified account (darn it!!), from what I can tell. I don’t see one that is “official/verified” for Bannon when I did a FB search for it. Somebody posted a link to this one on another thread which is how I got onto it. If not Bannon, whoever is doing the FB account is doing a good job with what they’re posting as far as articles, topics, etc.
Given the abundance of indications that the Obama Justice Department scrutinized his campaign, or at least his associates, it was odd that the president chose to tweet the one allegation in the whole mess that appears insupportable viz., that President Obama had had candidate Trump wiretapped. To my knowledge, no such suggestion has ever been publicly reported. At most, it has been reported (but not proved) that there was a FISA application in June that named Trump but, as Ive pointed out, saying someone was named in an application does not mean that person was targeted for eavesdropping. And, in any event, the reporting tells us that if there was such an application, the FISA court denied it. Thus, I know of no basis to believe that Trump himself was wiretapped; and if the presidents objective was to sensationalize the story, it would surely have been enough to tweet out a colorable fear that surveillance of him as a Russian agent had been proposed.
But was the overstatement slyly intentional? Was Trump trying to make a point?
Maybe not. It is certainly possible that the president was angry and the tweets result from a fit of pique. On the other hand, though, how much crazier is it for Trump to contend that Obama ordered spying on Trump than for the media and Democrats to have contended, for month upon month, that Trumps campaign conspired with the Putin regime to steal the American presidential election and turn the Oval Office into occupied Kremlin territory?
Great article overall but McCarthy, like the rest of his NR cohorts still underestimate the President.
A fit of pique? Hardly. The President's tweet on Saturday morning was a stroke of genius. He turned the whole Russia narrative on it's head. With one little tweet! I'm convinced the man is brilliant.
Good clip.
Knowing Steve, this is exactly what he would say if he were free to do so.
This is what LS said on another thread.
Agreed. And if one isn’t free to do so another way to get your message out is by surrogates through an unverified account. Not saying this is what has been done but the comments are interesting regardless who is posting them.
Yes, they are doing a good job with posts and yes, there seems to be some discrepancies on whether it is actually the REAL Bannon, or not.
After FB faked Drudge’s page, you NEVER know!!
I’ve decided that Trump-Russia connections were the ongoing purchase of caviar for his hotels.
You're suggesting that it isn't about Trump conspiring with the Russians to take down Hillary Clinton; it was really Obama conspiring with the British to take down Donald Trump?
