The number and types of cars indicate that this was more likely around 1910 than 1900.
Those fun loving, whacky Germans.
I’d rather see it in the original black and white, though.
Was thinking the same about 1910 or so. Notice just about everyone wore hats in that era.

Yes, I have thought of that. History often builds on single events and acts. WWI was not necessary...it led to Hitler’s power and WWII.
Russia was ripe for revolution for awhile, and may have happened at some point in some manner. Communism was an inevitable experiment, I believe.
Quite scary to think of what the future may bring. Our strong leadership is needed to tackle Islamic terrorism, North Korea, and other threats to world peace.
So much depends on a single act or decision.
A portion of it looks like 1914 with the troops marching off to war with flowers on them.
It looks like early propaganda film as WWI was started. Lots of soldiers and a parade of volunteers. Probably 1914 or a bit later.
It probably could be dated by the women’s fashions of the day.
Always poignant to see Europe at the height of its civilization before it all went to hell. The clothing was so nice back then.
