Very important, however, is the role and character of the committee counsel who will be doing most of the actual work. If I had my way, questioning would be not 5 min. per individual but one hour and the Republicans would assign their questioning to the committee counsel who is a real pro and who would, presumably, not be grandstanding for the folks at home but pursuing the investigation in a coherent manner.
But the politicians are only secondarily interested in pursuing the truth and primarily interested in enhancing their reputations so they will never surrender the limelight to some counsel.
Never gonna happen. Not one of them will ever see a day in jail. Not hillary, not obama, not any of them. Never gonna happen. Way too many liberal judges on the circuits to prevent it.
Investigations. By the time they figure anything out it will be time for another election cycle and nothing will be done about it.
The executive branch needs to breach the enemy walls send real lawmen into their bunkers. It must be lighting warfare in order to obtain their plans, intelligence and other deep reaching secrets.
Don’t tell me about _another_ investigation_ ; a committee hearing ; an interview. Execute the law with force; scorched earth; defend what is left of USConstitution. The enemy before USA, is not a political entity, it is a huge beast which seeks to destroy USA and the people of YHVH.
Let’s suppose their is no limelight and all is closed meetings.
Do you trust any certain individual over another to get this done correctly? I would support someone such as the TN congresswoman Marsha Blackburn to be in attendance.
Thanks for letting us all know you will be safe in your bunker. The rest of us want answers and we have a President that demands them.
Post of the day!
Dave Brat and that caucus
Did 0bama pass intelligence about candidate Trump to candidate Hillary via Loretta to Bill?
Curious minds want to know!
As I wrote, Congress can impeach the judges.
I’d like to see people like Guiliani and Christie involved in this as Bulldogs, but I’d also like to see Mark Levin and Jay Sekulow utilized for their legal counsel too. Get the best constitutional lawyers who love this country, involved.
Almost all of congress is compromised by bribery and blackmail, so a special prosecutor should be used.
Parsing of words. We all know that's what they do. It won't work this time. We also know that Clapper is a big liar! They are plenty scared right and will pull out every lying trick they know! Again, IT WON'T WORK THIS TIME !
Team Trump has hooked this into the Russian investigation.
Now the Dems are in a cleft stick...
“All of these things are matters to be balanced and there is no clear answer, especially in advance and especially when we do not know much of the facts that are presumably in possession of Trump”
The things we know are probably miniscule compared to the things we don’t know.
The Republican party is an unparalleled champion of snatching defeat from the grasping hands of victory.
So many are dirty themselves that they may try to skew a congressional hearing to cover themselves, my greatest fear.
President Trump is masterful at keeping his cards hidden until the proper time to play them for maximum effect. He’s been doing it his whole adult life.
I have no doubt he has gotten advice from his staff and has several plans formulated for use depending on what happens in congress. I also have no doubt that his staff doesn’t know the totality of his plans. They may know the broad strokes but I think he keeps the details to himself.
I find myself happy to watch him work on the swamp and it’s denizens.
I wish that for just one day I could be a spectator in his brain just to see how he works.
So many are asleep or they have been trained in sllllooowwww mmmmoooottttiiooonnn... I wouldn’t sleep well if they were protecting my flank.
Noting that I gladly voted for Trump and do not regret doing so, he evidently still does not understand that the corrupt, state sovereignty-ignoring, uniparty Congress wrongly let the lawless Obama Administration get away with many abuses.
So constitutionally low-information Trump still does not have a grip on who the real enemy of the people is imo.
Drain the swamp! Drain the swamp!
Remember in November 18 !
Since Trump entered the 16 presidential race too late for patriots to make sure that there were state sovereignty-respecting candidates on the primary ballots, patriots need make sure that such candidates are on the 18 primary ballots so that they can be elected to support Trump in draining the unconstitutionally big federal government swamp.
Such a Congress will also be able to finish draining the swamp with respect to getting the remaining state sovereignty-ignoring, activist justices off of the bench.
Noting that the primaries start in Iowa and New Hampshire in February 18, patriots need to challenge candidates for federal office in the following way.
Patriots need to qualify candidates by asking them why the Founding States made the Constitutions Section 8 of Article I; to limit (cripple) the federal governments powers.
Patriots also need to find candidates that are knowledgeable of the Supreme Court's clarifications of the federal governments limited powers listed below.
Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States. Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
State inspection laws, health laws, and laws for regulating the internal commerce of a State, and those which respect turnpike roads, ferries, &c. are not within the power granted to Congress [emphasis added]. Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]. United States v. Butler, 1936.
No, when an investigation is ongoing, those pursuing it don’t comment on it.
Remember President Trump said that he wouldn’t broadcast his moves before acting (albeit in a military context, it applies here also).
Headlines from media very fake news.
