I posted these thoughts on another three but I consider it important.
If Trump doesn’t sign off on clean repeal it will haunt him politically the rest of his term(s). He promised to REPEAL OBAMACARE! If he let’s Ryan’s bill carry the day he will be accused of breaking his word forever, the author of Obamacare lite or Obamacare 2.0.
The way to avoid that legacy is a clean repeal which establishment Republicans do not want. If a clean separate repeal were to go through, Ryan’s plan would be debated as it stands w/o phony repeal.
Ryan/Pence/Price telling Trump this is the only way they can get it though but that’s a lie. It’s the only way they can get it through without the wrath of the media.
Nunes just said it would be a public hearing.
