March 3, 2017 (LifeSiteNews) - Is the New York Times signaling that Supreme Court nominee Judge Neil Gorsuch is pro-homosexual, in the same way that it reported that then-Education Secretary nominee Betsy DeVos was a friend of LGBT rights?
Conservatives and same-sex/transgender activists are debating the significance of a Feb. 11 article by veteran Times reporter Sheryl Gay Stolberg. It reports that in his personal relationships with homosexual friends and co-workers, Judge Gorsuch has been very approving of homosexual relationships.
Gorsuch also attends a socially liberal Episcopal church in Boulder, led by a pro-LGBT female pastor, Rev. Jill Springer, who reportedly supports homosexual marriage.
The Gorsuch confirmation hearings are scheduled to begin Monday, March 20.
LifeSiteNews reporter Matthew Hoffman, in his in-depth report on Gorsuchs judicial philosophy, his private moral views, his church, and his interactions with homosexuals, describes a man who differs in some big ways with the jurist whom he could replace and to whom he is most often compared: the late Antonin Scalia.
Gorsuchs liberal Episcopal affiliations and his ambiguous views on some social issues have resonance with those who find him uncomfortably similar to David Souter, a vaguely conservative Republican and Episcopalian whose views on social issues were largely unknown when he was appointed to the Supreme Court by George H. W. Bush in 1999, Hoffman writes. Souter went on to side with the Supreme Courts liberal wing in crucial decisions upholding Roe v. Wade and striking down Texass anti-sodomy law.

The NYT would do anything to shoot this guy down.
You are right about the Slimes, but wrong about the significance of Gorsuch’s adult conversion to ECUSA.
Well the Episcopal Church was good enough for George Washington, James Madison, and 9 other former US Presidents, so maybe you want to rethink your prejudices.
Disapproving folk, you do realize the Donald and Ivanna Trump were married in an Episcopal Church?
Sorry, Jim and you and I disagree here.
Perhaps it's the NY in me, but I'm ambilivent about fags. I figure, they gotta answer to God, not me, not the law.
The thing wot galls me is when they do the Baking Cake Nazi thing, or the intrusion into a millenia-old custom of marriage. THOSE things are not acceptable.
But if they want to stretch out each others rectums, I could care less.
I think the concern comes from the fact that we don’t have any examples of conservative judges who oppose the homosexual agenda when it conflicts with the constitution in their decisions belonging to a church that specifically supports it. Yes, we have examples of libs that go against their church, but I don’t know of any judges who have made decisions supporting the constitution that belong to a specific church where their actual personal priestess is way into it. I guess we will see eventually.
Threads like this one make me think FR needs a an ‘alarm clock feature’ that could be set to ping everyone on the thread after a year or two to see how things actually turned out.

Dude, its actually true
Perhaps you need to go and study Gorsuch’s rulings and writings of those rulings!!! His writings are VERY similar to Scalia’s the humor of Scalia is there also!!! Investigate for yourself and STOP believing ANYTHING printed in the press!!!
I am Catholic and when it comes to Social Justice you don’t get anymore left than the Catholic church!! I hate this Pope, i hate the leanings of social justice in the church, however I am still Catholic!!!!
That was back when they actually believed the Word and obeyed its teachings. JMHO.
If that is true— GET HIM GONE!
I don’t care if Neil Gorsuch IS homosexual, as long as he upholds the Constitution with his interpretations like Scalia and Thomas. He can be a black transvestite Eskimo quadriplegic with autism and down syndrome, and as long as he upholds the law in the constitutional manner envisioned by the Founders, I’m good with that.
I can think of precisely one counter-example. Clarence Thomas, who, while now back as a practicing Catholic, was an episcopalian when confirmed.
I am not sure I like Goresucks now. Please reassure me.
He needs to asked at the hearing.”Are you pro faggot? “
