They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth. For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer. 1 Timothy 4: 1-5

Not Catholic and don’t offer many opinions on the Pope, but I do remember when it was felt that a man and a woman living together without being married was a big deal.

Attended the wake for Mrs. infool7’s boss (28) yesterday, he hit a tree on his way home from work. He didn’t know that the mother of his two children (two and four years old) had just found out that she was pregnant with their third child. They were not married and it is absolutely heartbreaking to see how young people have been convinced in the (false) triviality of marriage.
My wife and I have been married for over 32 years and it is extremely disappointing and disheartening that the Church seems to be diluting the importance of marriage in the family.

There is a natural order of things and I believe we are near a point of a major backlash. The left has shown they can rule by the tyranny of the courts. They will not be happy when the courts begin to rule against them.
Homosexuals and feminist won their battles years ago. Most American were ready to just live and let live.
