Every time the Left gets a new scalp, they up their efforts. This is the only way THEY can win.
If a 2nd Administration official goes down, they will increase the intensity when going after a 3rd. They are emboldened by every new scalp they get.
A big problem, too, is the undercutting of the administration coming from certain so-called Republicans.
It is a war on 2 fronts.
If Sessions “ends up under the bus” I think that would mark the end of the whole MAGA project and Trump will cease at that moment to get anything at all done..

Flynn's stuff happened as the Senate democrats were obstructing cabinet picks. It's an important position but not so important that you will let it delay the rest of your cabinet. Plus, I assume there was something else probably the misleading of the Vice President but there was probably other little things that we are unaware of.
The attorney general is one of the more important cabinet positions. If you let your opposition pick him off for a stupid semantic misunderstanding then you may as well fire your whole cabinet now and go it alone. Because they will come after them for J-walking if they think it will get them fired.
Finally at some point if you let the Democrats get away with this crap you will never be able to get anyone to accept a position in your cabinet. Why would I take a pay cut to be insulted, threatened and trashed for trying to serve my country? So the President needs to nip this BS in the butt now.
