I was standing I have line to see a movie while “Brokeback Mountain” was showing in another auditorium. The theater manager came out to set up a “Sold Out” sign for BM (not a bad acronym, actually.) When my movie ended, I stuck my head in to see what a ‘full house’) looked like. Would you believe it only takes six viewers?
The theater had to have been paid for all those vacant seats. I wonder who picked up the tab...

I recall the Dixie Chicks having empty “sold out” shows with few attendees sitting in the audience.
Heck, it was such a laugh that awhile later we had a troll show up here on FR specifically to defend the ditsy twits.
His handle was “horsewhisper”.
He then claimed he didn’t defend them.
I wouldn’t be surprised if a troll shows up in a year or three to flame us for this thread.
