Meh, seems ok to me. This is not “fuzzy bunny” bedroom slippers. This is “indoor-only formal shoes” slippers, which to me would be the perfect footwear for an extended evening in the Senate Well.

My first thoughts:

Gout?
Peripheral neuropathy?
Morton’s Foot?

There are several conditions that make hard-sided shoes uncomfortable for long periods of standing. I’m not a billionaire. I wear sheepskin slippers with a hard sole unless I have to go to town ($60). If it isn’t winter or slippery, I wear SAS moccasin-styled tie shoes, which have soft sides. ($100 on sale). $79 Tevas in summer. I have peripheral neuropathy and a Morton’s Foot Syndrome.

I really like his shoes. Wish I could afford them.

Maybe the shoes he wore to his swearing in rubbed blisters so he opted for soft slippers. As long as he bought them with his own billions, he’s welcome to wear whatever he wants.

First it was Kellyanne shoeless on the taxpayers’ couch trying to get everyone in the picture and now it’s comfy shoes on an old man who’s feet probably hurt 24/7. The msm just can’t help themselves. But let Moo wear expensive shoes and it’s a great and wonderful luv fest.
