Great for you! There was probably high end equipment there that would break anyone’s bank. I sometimes look in on the Hoffman forums. I think that’s where I heard about the Sinatra SACD releases. I also have several of the Analogue Productions releases of Nat Cole, which also sound amazing.
The kid has great memories but unfortunately there are no one like Frank for her to take her kids to today.

That photo is from a LA show where I was re-introducing Metronome to the US market. We’re standing in front of the $50k Metronome “Kalista” CD Transport - the DAC was an additional $25k.
The “dry”, unreleased version of Nat’s “Love Is The Thing” with “When I Fall In Love” and Stardust” is absolutely breathtaking. Numerous times Nat’s incredible voice causes audible pops when his breath wave hits the microphone.
