Mr. Mercat and I sat on the deck and watched the last of the power cells sweep across the southeast corner of the metro (KCMO). No rain for us though.
Storms are always more beautiful when they are moving away without damage and you can see the setting sun’s light reflected off the high cloud tops.
I am still waiting for the 4 major winter storms and 17” of Snow predicted by Channel 41’s Mr. Lezak! On the other hand, I am eating spinach and lettuce from the garden. A warm winter will probably result in a bad year for mosquitos and oak mites.
