Yeah the shopping cart is fine but when you go to order history you see nothing..I just checked since I pre ordered the new Zelda game for the Nintendo Switch and it doesnt show that I made any orders..I wanted to buy some toys for my nephew’s 2nd birthday coming up but will wait til this issue is resolved

SiriusXM online streaming has been screwed up for a few hours, but that’s happened to them before.
Amazon prior orders is screwed up for me, but shopping cart and “saved for later” stuff is there. As long as the book I ordered gets here tomorrow as promised.

My company isn’t affected. We don’t use AWS servers. We have our own. And lots of them.

Why is Amazon involved with providing web services?
Web services are utilities
Amazon is a retailer.

Amazon is actually one of, if not _the_, biggest cloud computing service providers. It’s huge.

Bezos is evil to his employees.
I have found it equal or cheaper to shop at the primary source retailer. Often with free shipping.
Take Amazon down.

I’ve never thought Amazon was cheap. I can usually find stuff for less elsewhere. I still use eBay though. I don’t do the bid thing but hit the buy it now.

The scary thing is the possibility someone may try to do a distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack on Level 3 Communications, who runs much of the "backbone" of the Internet and much of the Domain Name Server (DNS) naming services. If they can bring Level 3 down, it could bring the entire Internet in most of the world to a screeching halt.

go to orders then click on open orders it should show up that’s what I just did and it appeared
To: RayChuang88
Based on the article, it looks like the problem is confined to one Amazon data center on the East coast. They probably have a faulty load-balancer or something along those lines.
