BWAHAHA! Good one, Bob!
One of my nieces had a DNA test done, and because of it, we found out our mother (her grandmother) told the Lie of the Last Century. She told us we were descendants of the Sioux.
Because of that said niece got a job on the Rosebud Sioux Reservation as a dialysis nurse. I hope the Tribe adopts her!
Niece is 93% Irish! She looked for a match and found a gal who is, in actuality, her half-sister! So we’re all happy-family-reunioning, including the mom (NOT on FR) who gave this gal up for adoption so many years ago.
Weird stuff, that DNA.
Wow. Am I the only one in here?
Oh, my. You have no idea.
In all the pages and pages of data, there are only a few significant bits that get shuffled around to manipulate what we see as massive differences.
Eventually, we'll have the codes pretty well mapped out. We already have the ability to write any particular sequence we want, but we're in the position of the million monkeys typing on the million typewriters as far as being actually creative with it.
Once we can actually pick and choose certain variables, however, that's when the real mayhem will start.
Hi. I was lying down. Then I began to feel cold, so I said to myself, “Self, the last time you felt like this, some teenager had turned the thermostat down to Freeze Your Knees!” So I got up and found, indeed, that said teenager had done that thing again.
It’s quite dark here, and DP is going on about lightning and so forth. It seems probable that swim team practice will be called off again, but they haven’t done it yet. Hoping against hope, probably.
Very interesting news about your niece!
