All these morons that want our nation to break up better think long and hard about the ramifications.
We have a federal budget that covers our military. You start breaking away states with large incomes and you’ll soon have a nation with half as many citizens, and half as much federal income.
Figure out for yourselves how that impacts our military.
Try to grasp the reality that broken off states will be free to ally with Russia, China, Iran...
Wake the heck up folks. Sheer insanity is demonstrated by folks who don’t have the tools to grasp this.
the usual venting from the fever swamps...
“Were breaking it up for what, exactly?”
Yes. I agree. If Hillary had gotten into the White House, it would be a question with an answer. Better to break up into whatever divisions that make sense, even with no guarantee of success, than to remain in a union that effectively becomes a suicide pact bent on Soviet style self destruction.
Now, with Trump, I am all for fighting to turn the country back into what it was founded as. It won’t be easy, but we have a chance and, no doubt about it, we are stronger together.
Every State has good, intelligent conservatives in it and I think the Left is destroying itself.
$
A house divided will not stand................it will be all one or all the other.
Abe Lincoln.
I think the same exists here in the United States. The process is not quite as easy as it was in 1861 - economically, militarily and culturally.
Exactly! We don't break up the country. We destroy
its domestic enemies. And the Federal Government has
become a domestic enemy of We the American People.
There is no legal impediment to tearing down the federal govenment
and restructuring it in a constitutional manner. All of it can
be gone if a majority of states decide that is necessary.
But we are not united. The left’s goal is to destroy the whole country. It is time to sunder the nation.
Never concede an ounce of soil.
The left is comitted we fail. They had a divisive ten years that included a President in Obama who divided the country. They didn’t even give Trump a chance and are opposing him and calling for his ouster. They are the ones creating the chaos and division. I think they want to bring down the country by any means. So it would be better if they left the country.
Yeah, because Balkanization works so well everywhere else it’s tried.
I wonder if the confederacy had not supported Slavery then maybe the North would not have waged war. Hard to tell, but the north wanted to end the practice.
Next day, declare war on the blues. They're defeated without a shot, and then incorporated as territories with limited representation. Problem solved.
This solution also works if states like Calif voted to secede on their own. Same result: military occupation, elimination of representation.
California was making noises like they were going to
secede one day; then a couple of days later were
hollering for the federal government to make them a
disaster area because of their neglect of dam repairs
that was now threatening the lives of thousands.
I’m Tennessee. We tried to secede from the Union. My
folks didn’t have slaves, but YA’LL were down HEAH and
my great-greats defended themselves. (My 6th great
grandparents did own some slaves down in the Georgia
Territory; but my 5th great grandpa married a Cherokee
woman and they came to Tennessee because granny pitched
a fit about it.)

From wiki:
The Hunger Games universe is a dystopia set in Panem, a country consisting of the wealthy Capitol and 12 districts in varying states of poverty. Every year, children from the districts are selected to participate in a compulsory annual televised death match called The Hunger Games.
The only way to get out from under the tyranny of the “deep state” is to secede from it. We are watching now a good man like President Trump getting thwarted by unelected bureaucratic leftist thugs that think they run the country. They think that because they do indeed run the country.
Just another pinhead making up insulting words against Americans.
