We should have a welcoming immigration policy - for those who follow our laws. By eliminating illegals, we make decent Americans more confident that legal immigrants are here legally, and thus we all become more welcoming.

the gangster Bush family is totally irrelevant unless the leftists need a talking point, and then they are happy to further the Elite’s agenda - You know, all that NWO stuff, which, it turns out, was not a conspiracy but rather a little known fact.

When they use the word “democracy” so loosely, they do need to be reminded of this:
[I]t is very clear that in fundamental theory, socialism and democracy are almost—if not quite—one and the same. They both rest at bottom upon the absolute right of the community to determine its own destiny and that of its members. Men as communities are supreme over men as individuals.

— Woodrow Wilson, Socialism and Democracy, 1887
So now Mr. Dubya defends socialism openly.

"[The new President] deserves my silence. There's plenty of critics in the arena. I think it's time for the ex-president to tap dance off the stage and let the current president have a go at solving the world's problems."

Bush left office in 2008 and his reputation was toxic. He had been the Left’s whipping boy during his last term and all of Obama’s 8 years. No one in the Establishment respected him — Left or Right. They mocked him and thought him an incompetent fool. So he laid low for 8 years. Taking all the abuse. Now he sees his opportunity to get back into their good graces and have his reputation “reevaluated” by the MSM and liberal talking heads. So he’ll bash Trump in order to be held up by them as a “sane” Republican. Its a deal with the Devil. But Bush will make it to try to salvage his legacy. Its sad and disgusting. Its a betrayal of conservatives who defended him during his last term and during Obama’s years while he refused to say anything.

We welcome legal immigrants who follow the process, not those sneaking across our borders being welcomed into sanctuary cities and churches.

Mr. President, don’t you have a couple of paintings to finish up? We survived the Obama years largely without you. You allowed him to slime your name and your party’s name for eight years, barely saying a word against it. We elected a GOP president now, no thanks to you your brother Jeb! and the rest of your bitter, destructive clan.
So we don’t find ourselves in need of your ‘guidance’ at this time. Oh, and Hillary will be ready for her portrait whenever you decide to roll out of bed today.

George W. Bush: "Media Is ‘Indispensable’ To Democracy"

He left out a few words.

He should have said this:

"An Honest and unbiased media is indispensable’ to democracy"

He sits idly by while 0bama devastates the country for eight years, and now he criticizes the guy trying to undo some of the damage. What an anus. The Bushes and Clintons seem to differ only by degree of criminality and grasp of public decorum.

George W. Bush said he favored a welcoming immigration policy and warned that the media is "indispensable to democracy" in an interview with Matt Lauer Monday that seemed to take several shots at President Trump.

What a guy! Never said (to my knowledge) anything about Obama, now takes a shot at Trump. Left a mess in the middle east. Prescription drug benefit disaster.

We welcome 1.1 million legal permanent immigrants a year (87% of whom are minorities as defined by the USG) along with 640,000 guest workers annually. This at a time when we have the lowest labor participation rates since the 1970s. Over 35 million legal permanent immigrants have come here since 1990.

In 1970 one in 21 was foreign born in this country; today, it is less than one in 8, the highest in 105 years; and by 2023 it will be one in 7, the highest in our history. Immigrants and their children drive 80% of the population growth.

Civilian labor force participation : Percent or rate 16 years and over
