Amid an escalating fight with the media, President Donald Trump derided a New York Times advertisement that hasn't yet aired.
The president's tweet, sent from his personal account before 7 a.m. on Sunday morning, is referring to a 30-second spot slated to air during the Academy Awards show Sunday night. It is the newspaper's first television ad since 2010, not their first ever as the president suggested. The ad sews together audio-clips of punditry about "the truth" with the eventual conclusion that "the truth is more important now than ever."
The paper said the ad aimed to remind readers how costly reporting the news can be.

By responding to everything, he is only prolonging public interest and discussion about the ad.
He is also telegraphing to his his enemies how to disturb him. We may think is is cool, but the majority of Americans are getting way over the petty squabbles.
When you are in public office, you let the flea sheet pass. To respond to every thing is to do so at your peril.
It reminds me of the time some inconsequential DC political rad ran a column listing a certain Congressman as (allegedly) one of the “Dozen Dumbest Members of Congress.”
One one noticed it.... until he called a press conference to deny it... and that press conference was covered by the WP and 2 TV stations, and all of a sudden a story that maybe 200 people had read was front of mind for 10,000 readers and viewers. Let the flea sheet along. It's part of the job, and when you stop responding to it, it will go away. Anything else telegraphs a very weak ego.
Yes and he predicted the Swedish moslem riots before they happened. Trump knows what has happened, what is happening, and what will happen.
The Oscars?? I may have watched the Oscar awards program once in my life time. I am my mother’s daughter. She passed away at the age of 92 and instilled in my siblings and I the passion for decency and Christian values. My Dad, too.
Let’s give God the Glory and pray that President Trump and his leadership team will always seek God’s Divine Wisdom before taking action on anything. God knows everything and Is everything! What part of that can’t people understand and to add to that, He is in charge of our next breath.

Chuck Swindoll has a great sermon on that topic. I listened to it this morning on OnePlace.com

“Any amount of time tasting the fruits of our fallen world will give most of us a hunger for heaven. Without a doubt, the songs, choruses of worship, hymns, and anthems on the subject of heaven number in the hundreds. For centuries, Gods people have anticipated their final homea dwelling place that is the destiny and destination of all who know and love the Lord Jesus Christ. To this day, it remains the hope of every believer grieving the death of a loved one. All of us who fill the ranks of the redeemed understand that, while we are to live as responsible citizens of this nation, in reality, we are citizens of heaven (Philippians 3:20) where our Savior has gone to prepare a place for you (John 14:2). Since heaven will be our ultimate destination, we need to spend less time complaining about our struggles and trials on earth, where we temporarily live, and more time learning as much as possible about heaven, where we will live forever.”
Mel Gibson’s GF is hot.
Thanks for sharing.
The sodomite-friendly material is my least-favorite part of any show.
Watched some WKRP in Cincinnati the other day. Was surprised at the sodomite propaganda at that early date, then I caught Liberaci on the Jack Benny show.
It’s very obvious that he isn’t ‘let every sling and arrow get under his skin.’
First off, I’m sure these don’t ‘get under his skin’, he just has automatic reflexes to attacks after 40 years of this stuff. He responds without so much a twitch.
Second, he only responds to a couple of the higher profile attacks, 99.99% go unresponded to.
Third GWB is prime example of why some response is required.
Toughen up, or it’s going to be a long 8 years for you.
“I’m sorry, but the President, as much as I love him, cannot let every sling and arrow get under his skin.”
I agree — only respond to the important stuff. The more he tweets, the less the tweets mean. Also, quite frankly, it is beneath him to do that. He is the President — the democrats are not. I sincerely hope he rises above this POS liberals, ignores the small crap and leads us to greatness.
Speaking of fake news, my local CBS affiliate announced tonight that “as has been happening across the country, the KKK has been putting letters in mailboxes right here in River City,” or words to that effect.
I searched the internet using DDG, but didn’t find any such reports. I presume this is just another false flag operation.
but not by any of those queers and beta males sitting at the table lol
