Senator John McCain serves as Chairman of the Senate Committee on Armed Services. Did McCain have knowledge of this mission? Is McCain the leak? I wouldn’t put it past him.
We don’t know if there was a leak.
My guess would be that if there was a leak, the enemy would have moved from that location long before the raid.
Sometimes, the enemy is smart and figures out that something is up. They aren’t all stupid.
The Commander of the operation knew that their secrecy had been compromised. He chose to continue the mission.
It has also been reported that our forces landed five miles from the objective.
Once a SEAL is out of the Osprey/helicopter/parachute he is moving at a walk. They had to hump five miles to get to the objective.
Some things just not right about the planning and conduct of this mission.
Is McCain the leak? I wouldn’t put it past him. ........................ How can you say that, didn’t you hear the broadcast from NVN, where he told us how well treated he was by the enemy, fine medical treatment, good food, comfortable conditions, bleeeeech. I wouldn’t put anything past him either, however he did choose a great running mate that gave him more votes than he would have received otherwise. Too bad they couldn’t switch the ticket, he would have made a better VP than Biden and we would have had a great 1st woman president. Trump is fighting a huge wave, both Democrats, Republicrats and Crazies. I hope he kicks ass, and rids us of the politically corrupt Alpha Hotels who would sell us out to fill their own pockets. I can understand the father’s feelings, he’s been hurt in the worst possible manner, especially if it was his only son. Where was the Press for Doughty and Woods? Did Hillary ever apologize to the families face to face? Don’t expect it, in Hillary’s world they are deplorables.
