He definitely sounds establishment, and I knew as soon as the press loved him. As far as ticking off those countries, Trump hasn’t had any issues with those countries, and he’s been using that term since the beginning of his campaign. Even business wise, they just opened a new tower in Dubai.
I think Trump is trying to be friendly with those countries and if I understand correctly what the POTUS said about Syria, the Arab countries will pay for the “safe zones” he mentioned.
The Saudis, Gulf Arabs etc. financed the anti-Assad jihadists that turned Syria into a hellhole and drove people out of the country, creating a security threat for other nations.
