FBI Director James Comey should have been released from service on President Donald Trump’s first day in office, former United Nations ambassador John Bolton told The Daily Caller News Foundation.
Bolton’s comments come after President Donald Trump blasted the FBI for being unable to find leakers of classified information Friday morning. Trump also suggested that the FBI was even unable or unwilling to police its own ranks.

Yes but he is a real weasel. I think that the tweeting is trying to show him the door because he is serving a 5 year term and I believe Trump is trying to show that the FBI is out of control. I’m not sure that is the way to do it but maybe it’s Trumps way of publicly indicating that there is a real problem there.
I hope so. I think Comey needs to be booted ASAP.
I just wonder if there isn’t MORE going on with the Clinton Foundation than we know in terms of an investigation. And maybe he was held over to make sure it CONTINUES. It’s been too quiet ... if it fades, fire him. But if that thing suddenly hit the streets and catches fire, then he’s probably the one spearheading it.

Au contraire. My take is the Dems were being disingenuous when they complained about Comey.
Comey got Hillary off the hook at his July press conference.
Podesta and other Dems complained about Comey's last minute look at Anthony Weiner's laptop, but the truth is the FBI NY office had that info a month earlier and the FBI DC HQ tried to stall them until after the election. When the NY office threatened to go public, that's when Comey himself had to get out in front of it to protect Hillary.
Make Bolton head of FBI. His neocon credentials suggest he loves war. Let him make war on the leakers. Helps the country and doesn’t get bogged down in some foreign sandpit.
HE still has a job with a good income and pension.
Much better prospect than the many unemployed.

I don’t trust BOLTON, one iota.
I like how Attorney General Jeff Sessions is working. He is quietly going about his business getting things done. Trump and others are giving him cover.

Weren’t we reading 90 days ago that agents would not respond to Comey in the hallways and were openly showing their contempt for him?
There were valid reasons for that treatment! Comey appears to be a compromised individual.
