I didn’t vote to make the moon great again, or keep gov’t “job programs” going.
Call it APOLLO II -— it is soooo long overdue. The costs could be EASILY covered by getting a bunch of illegals off the American taxpayer’s backs.
Will it make Muslims feel good about science? /S
More seriously, I think we’ve got more pressing problems to address at home and in near-earth orbit.
This won’t make Obama and his moon god worshiping Muslim Brotherhood, happy.
NASA didn’t move slowly and incrementally between September 12, 1962 and July 20, 1969. It was balls to the wall, pardon the language.
No no no no.. not the FIRST of anything.
Finally a man with a vision, and another reason to have great hope that America will continue to be great well into the future.
Hope we don’t have to fight the Chinese up on the moon.
Uhhh.. I’m afraid the moon is a bit passe,if Trump wants to go there he can be there and back over any weekend.
just take one of these:
TR3B
...............
http://www.darkgovernment.com/news/tr-3b/
he TR-3B is Code named Astra. The tactical reconnaissance TR-3B first operational flight was in the early 90s. The triangular shaped nuclear powered aerospace platform was developed under the Top Secret, Aurora Program with SDI and black budget monies. At least 3 of the billion dollar plus TR-3Bs were flying by 1994. The Aurora is the most classified aerospace development program in existence. The TR-3B is the most exotic vehicle created by the Aurora Program. It is funded and operationally tasked by the National Reconnaissance Office, the NSA, and the CIA. The TR-3B flying triangle is not fiction and was built with technology available in the mid 80s. Not every UFO spotted is one of theirs.
How will they overcome the Allen radiation belt.?
Ping.
To what end?
I remember the 80s when the space shuttle was the big thing and thinking “wow we used to go to the moon and now all we do is go up and down and that is progress”.
Seriously, men haven’t walked on the moon since cars had eight tracks, carburetors, drum brakes, and seat belts were optional.

Since we stopped going to the moon, I decided to go back and revisit it often. I couldn't afford a space craft, so I built an observatory. Shot this image not too long ago. Lunar crater Plato is seen at left/lower.
The U.S. should have had a small exploration base on the moon decades ago. Instead of giving up, we should have aggressively pursued it.
No! REALLY? That sounds so DANGEROUS!
Why don't they slow it down like Apollo, so it re-enters slowly?
That Trump! Always reckless! Maybe we should invoke the 25th Amendment?
Since when?
