The left-leaning Washington Post has introduced a new slogan in the age of President Donald Trump: “Democracy Dies in Darkness.”
In an interview with CNN’s Brian Stelter, the paper’s spokesperson, Kris Coratti, said that the slogan was a “good, concise value statement that conveys who we are to the many millions of readers who have come to us for the first time over the last year.”
The newspaper, which is owned by Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, was vehemently opposed to Donald Trump’s candidacy in the 2016 presidential election. As part of the effort to prevent Trump from winning, Bezos reportedly hired a team of 20 investigative journalists to dig into “every phase” of Donald Trump’s personal life and professional career.

Not a Democracy.
Their slogan should be “We Lie” or “We Suck’ !
And the Washington Post pumps out a smoke screen to hide its convoy of lies.
And I would say it dies, smothered under a fresh steaming pile of bullcrap.
The drama with these people never ends.

The founding fathers were EXTREMELY skeptical of democracy, recognizing it as sure a road to tyranny as was the monarchy they fought against.
The word “Democracy” DOES NOT APPEAR in the Constitution or the Declaration of Independence.
Though the Trump movement is an uprising of The People . . . it must treat as sacred the rule of law if it is to succeed.
The French Revolution took a different direction, and their malignant form of democracy quickly turned atheistic (democracy as a false religion). It is the direct ancestor of liberalism, socialism, progressivism and communism.
WT* does that even mean?
Anyway, the US is not a democracy.
