A special election to fill the District 10 state Senate seat, vacated by Bethany Hall-Long, now Lt. Governor, has drawn not just national attention, but national funding as well.
It is an unprecedented amount---perhaps nearly 10 times as much as what is traditionally spent on a local state Senate seat race. Observers said it would appear to be the Democratic Party pushing to maintain one of its final bastions of control in a state, following what many in the party feel was a shocking loss nationwide during the presidential election.

A team of Russian engineers on vacation there now?
So we can assume the Dems will pull out all the stops on voter fraud?
You notice there is a Libertarian running for the seat?
He is there to take votes away from the Republican and therefor guarantee victory for the RAT.
Would have been great to learn about this race sooner, so it would make sense to contribute.
Good Luck...
Well, I see that the ‘RATS have arranged for a Losertarian candidate to be in the race to help the ‘RAT candidate by draining votes from the a Republican.
Wonder if he will be around doing the same thing this election?
I am a Libertarian and you are right.
“A team of Russian engineers on vacation there now?”
That is funny.
You forgot Joe Insurance Policy, the walking gaffe.
Well, the Dems are pouring money in the race through a PAC which seems to be openly coordinating with the candidate [a no-no] but the Delaware Election Commissioner is another Dem so nothing is being done about it and all contributions to the PAC don’t have to be revealed until well after the election is over so, yeah, the fix is in.
Terrible but not unexpected news, the rat won and held the seat vacated by the new rat LT Governor and thus the rats keep the DE Senate majority they’ve held since (? DJ?).
It wasn’t close, 58-41.
It was close in 2014, but that it was close in a GOP landslide year didn’t make me confident we could win it in a special election that democraps were nationally targeting, having Plugs Biden go door to door. It’s not a conservative area. It was uncontested in 2012.
Dems are jumping up and down with glee that the didn’t lose it though, lol, pathetic.
On Tuesday in CT split now 17-17 , 2 special elections. One is DEM & the other DEMs think have a chance. But in end probably 18-18 with DEM LT GOV breaks tie. http://www.dailykos.com/story/2017/2/26/1637887/-Critical-Special-Elections-in-Connecticut
DE Republicans haven’t won the Senate since 1970 (they held the House more recently, until 2009).
That the Dems threw every imaginable resource and spent over $1 million for a single legislative seat was pathetic and reeked of desperation. The GOP wasn’t going to match that, nor should they.
The state is controlled by the formerly Republican, now leftist New Castle County, and they can outvote the other 2 GOP counties. I favor disbanding the state entirely and giving it to Maryland. Enough with these tiny “city” states.
The seat rats think they have a “chance” in has got to be one of the most GOP seats in CT and Trump carried all but one of the towns in it.
i don’t expect CT-32 to be that close.
there is a 3rd candidate, independent, but he got no money.
18-18 remain.
the other race ... DEM McCrory is the best man for the job. the progressives hate him.
I strongly endorse the Republican in CT-2, Michael McDonald.
the big concern is McCrory’s House seat.
Don’t want the leftist progs to get it
no upsets today in CT
55 to 45 victory in the GOP Senate Seat.

2 house seats being vacated. 2 more special elections coming up. Berthels House seat will be a challenge
