Republican Gov. Chris Sununu signed legislation Wednesday that removes the requirement that people get a license from local officials to carry concealed guns. The National Rifle Association says that makes New Hampshire the 12th state, including Vermont and Maine, that doesn't require a license or permit in most cases.

Did NH go to Trump or Hillary? Anyone care to opine on what is going on with NH politics? The most heavily populated part of the state is basically a suburb of Boston. Also,a huge percentage of the population are "refugees" from Massachusetts. As a result, the Rats tend to do well there. However,"same day registration" and the massive, ongoing voter fraud that resulted is a big factor. ILLary won by a few thousand votes.Without "same day registration" Trump would have won.

Breitbart says there were already 12:
“There are currently 12 states that recognize permitless carry. Those state are Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Idaho, Kansas, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Vermont, Wyoming, and West Virginia.” http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2017/01/23/alabama-enters-race-become-13th-permitless-carry-state/

Dangerous people could always carry a loaded gun under their jacket or in their purse, and likely often did.

So, the citizens of these 12 states are safer, more trustworthy than those in the other 38 states?

NH officially went to Hillary, however, there is a substantial argument that that was the result of fraud in the form of Massachusetts Democrats voting here illegally. This has been a known issue for a few election cycles, now, but we’ve had Dem Governors busy not looking into it. Maybe we can get it sorted out now that we have a Republican Governor and there is some acknowledgement of the issue nationally.

I expect so, for purposes of reciprocity. I have one and don’t plan on throwing it away.

I did take the course and got the permit here in Kansas although Kansas is constitutional carry. But we travel through states that are not but that honor another state’s permit... like Missouri, Colorado, I don’t know about Nebraska or Oklahoma.

NH is an oddity. Big liberal state but they apparently know they need to defend themselves.
