Why is the mayor provided with a tax paid vehicle? Do they not pay the mayor enough money to buy his own vehicle like the rest of us?
Why does the NYC mayor get a mansion? We “perk” cars to various government officials all the time. At least it’s not a limo with a driver.
I live in a city a whole lot smaller than Tucson. Upon his inauguration, the incoming mayor (Tea Party type guy) was handed the keys to his city owned SUV. He handed them back and said his old Ford Ranger was fine.
