On Thursday, President Donald Trump named Alexander Acosta as his new nominee for secretary of labor the same man who cut a sweetheart plea deal with billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein in 2008.
Acosta, while working as the top federal prosecutor in Miami, agreed not to file any federal charges against Epstein who was accused of having sex with dozens of underage teen girls in exchange for him pleading guilty to state charges of soliciting prostitution and soliciting a minor for prostitution. The infamous pedophile had been accused of recruiting dozens of underage girls into a sex-slave network. Epstein was known for flying wealthy friends, including Bill Clinton, on his private plane dubbed the Lolita Express, to a private Caribbean island, known as Orgy Island. According to flight logs, Bill Clinton flew on Epsteins private plane 26 times from 2001 to 2003. It was alleged that Epstein had hidden cameras all over his property so that he could film prominent people having sex with the minors for use as blackmail material.
Despite the incredibly disturbing allegations in his case, Epstein was only sentenced to 18-months in a county jail. He ultimately served around 13 months, much to the dismay of his victims who filed a lawsuit over the handling of the case in 2008. The Government and Epstein conspired to conceal the NPA (non-prosecution agreement) from the victims to prevent them from joining any objection, and to avoid the firestorm of controversy that would have arisen if it had become known that the Government was immunizing a politically-connected billionaire and all of his conspiracies from the prosecutions of hundreds of federal crimes against minor girls, attorneys for Epsteins victims wrote in a court filing for their lawsuit against the government. LawNewz notes that recent filings in the case also raise legitimate questions about what else prosecutors would have discovered if the federal investigation had not come to an abrupt end with the promise of no prosecution by the feds. Acosta is not named in the lawsuit over the handling of the Epstein case, but it will surely become a heated topic during his upcoming confirmation hearing.
“Ping me when any Senator asks him any question about Epstein. Less than one in a million chance.”
A million to one?
I’ll take that action.
If you are giving one in a million chances, I’ll put up $1.00 in a bet to your $1,000,000.00
Deal?
Very likely that Epstein is working with some of the “Intelligence” community to get the typical blackmail info. and pressure from Washington - typically if something comes to light, they want a deal so the details aren’t made public.
Let Trump know that this is unacceptable
I just read this on Breitbart..

Plea deals are often offered to criminals/perverts, when there is not enough evidence to convict them in a court of law. If they can convince them that they do evidence, but for some information on others; the DA is willing to give them a plea deal...most accept. It means less prison time, or in some cases only probation/community service, etc! The idea being that some time is better than none for the sleaze ball!
My guess is he gave up some heavy info, even if not used yet, to acquire that plea deal. Sometimes it gives undercover officers a place to go, and find evidence for future arrests.
I agree...and the info he had worth the deal, most likely!
The trauma to girls testifyimg in court about being abused is terrible, so usually the courts plea bargain to a lesser charge.
Good. I hope this all gets covered in the confirmation hearings. Anything to shed light on such evil.
Pleading guilty for solicitation of a minor for prostitution isn’t good enough for you? Those aren’t solid enough facts?!
My guess is that Acosta will explain that his hands were tied because the deal was made over his objections by Main Justice, meaning that Obama’s AG, Eric Holder, was the responsible party.
Who is doing the VETTING????? FIRE THEM!! No one is a SAINT, but Epstein and Clinton SHOULD have gone to PRISON for this crap!!
Was Comey involved in any of this?
Now THAT would be GREAT!!!
I haven’t seen anything I like about this guy.
Plus...it's said that the Former Twelfth Lady is planning to run again in '20.
Knowing nothing about how criminal prosecutions work I could be wrong but it's easy to see how someone like Holder, particularly, would be feared by a subordinate while he/she was handling a "sensitive" case.
Exactly! You can’t damn every AG for the plea deals they make.
Cruz yesterday gave kudos to Trump picking Acosta - said he’s known Acosta for many years as a fine lawyer.
Which is it?
and stop playing with themselves - not only bad for their eyesight but it seems to be depriving their brains of needed Oxygen.
