Sen. Rand Paul seemed thoroughly impressed with the Trump administrations first thirty days during his appearance on ABCs This Week. When asked about the Presidents performance the Senator had this to say:

Welcome
I appreciate this from Paul, and I’ve not always been a big fan. He sure nails it here.
He’s exactly right on Trump and McCain.
Rand Paul might not be right on every issue, but he’s a smart guy. And he’s a patriot . Trump would do well to listen to him. Paul would, in fact, be a great addition to any “kitchen cabinet” Trump might form.
Welcome to FR. A great choice for your early posting - McCain has duped us before and has few if any FRiends here.
The traitor McCain killed 134 sailors hot dogging his jet on the USS Forrestal and sang like a canary in the Hanoi Hilton for the North Vietnamese and has never stopped supporting for the enemies of real Americans.
His father and grandfather must be rolling in their graves.
Paul is in the house. US TX senators are Cruze and Cornyn
McCain’s backstabbing has a long history. I know it goes as far back as President Bush 2. Maybe even earlier.
Sorry got confused

Sen. Rand Paul (Ky.) ripped fellow Republican Sen. John McCain (Ariz.) on Sunday after McCain criticized President Trumps escalating war of words with the media.
He argued that the nation is very lucky that Trump is president and not McCain, who won the 2008 GOP nomination but lost to Barack Obama in the general election.
Paul argued that McCain has a history of being wrong major foreign policy questions.
I would say John McCains been wrong on just about everything over the last four decades. He advocated for the Iraq War, which I think destabilized the Middle East, he said.
If you look at the map, theres probably at least six different countries where John McCain has advocated for us having boots on the ground, he added.

Good deal. Rand is proving he’s not part of the GOPestablishment.
Rand Paul is a US Senator from Kentucky
He’s certainly a far cry from Yertle, Kentucky’s other Senator.
Rand has really stepped up in support of our President lately .
Paul is a senator from Kentucky he is not in the house!!!
Yep. He is Rep Ron Paul’s son. Rep Paul retired a while back, but I liked him so his name stuck in my head.
I agree. He was one of the bright ones during the debates.
Relax. He made a mistake.
If your real Rand, then hit ‘em again, harder, harder. (Next time)
McCain wants a war with Russia because he’s been brainwashed by the “media” that Clintoonie would have won the election if the Russians hadn’t marched Americans to the polls at gunpoint.
