Not much can get between senators and a recess. Except, perhaps, FBI Director James B. Comey.
Members of the Senate Intelligence Committee, along with ex-officio member and Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer, huddled for a total of more than two hours on Friday with Comey.
The FBI director’s visit was not announced publicly, and it’s possible members of the Capitol Hill press corps only found out because he was spotted in the hallways and entered a secure room used for intelligence briefings.
But leaving that secure room in the Capitol Visitor Center, senators declined to even confirm the presence of the FBI director, much less the substance of the meeting. Those who did talk generally only gave “no comments” or referred questions to Intelligence Chairman Richard M. Burr and ranking member Mark Warner.

He probably let them know there was nothing illegal with Flynn but here are the lists of leaks we are currently investigating and we will charge anyone, including members of Congress, with leaking classified information. And any leaking related to the contents of this meeting will also be met with a charge.
Well, if it was the intelligence committee, it has something to do with foreign activities. Since it is not the CIA director, it may have something to do with domestic operations of foreign officals which have a direct impact on the Congress. Sessions has been pretty quite of late so my sense is this is outside his knowledge. Furthermore, there would be no reason for the FBI to be alerting Congress about some action the AG was going to bring. I don’t see that Trump has any inkling of what is coming either.
Anyway, it is fun to speculate but a secret meeting before recess is very important and could be momentous news.

The reason I suggest it was a about ValJar arranging all the leaks and havoc in general while zero was in HI and BVI is these balless senators were seeing their offices back home lit up by protesters if they’re forced to go after Obama.
That’s the only thing to sober up a senator: threaten his seat. And, if that’s what’s coming and OFA knows it, the attacks will ramp up X10, the entire left will go scorched earth.
