NEW YORK (AP) — The early weeks of the Trump administration have widened divides between liberal and conservative Jews, setting off quarrels over anti-Semitism, Israel and the Holocaust.
Well before the 2016 election, discussion over Israel had become so barbed among Jews that Jewish groups began organizing civility training so relationships and holidays wouldn't be ruined. But those disputes have erupted with a new intensity since Donald Trump won the presidency.
They were on display most prominently this week, during Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's first visit to the Trump White House and a pair of news conferences during which the president would not directly address questions about anti-Semitism. On Thursday, in one of the most remarkable moments of a riotous back-and-forth with reporters, Trump shut down a Hasidic reporter from an Orthodox magazine who had taken pains to preface his question by saying he knew Trump wasn't anti-Jewish.
Jonathan Greenblatt, chief executive of the Anti-Defamation League, the Jewish civil rights group that has been highly critical of Trump, called the president's response "mind-boggling."

Actually, that Reporter for the Jewish Orthodox Newspaper is a Trump Supporter. He was interviewed on Fox after the News Conference.
No rational person thinks that Trump does not support Israel or is anti-Semitic. But this article just drips with insinuation that the Jews are becoming more and more fearful that Trump will initiate a holocaust, or something.

I don’t think this is news and here is why:
1. Jews are Democrats and always have been.
2. Jews support Israel and and always will.
Now both claims are exaggerations. But more importantly, they are incompatible and always have been. Until the Jewish people, bless there hearts, figure this out they will continue to be confused politically and, I guess, in “tension”.
Ivanka married a Jew, Eric married a Jew, Don Jr married a Jew at least their spouses are from Jewish backgrounds, don’t know what they practice these days.
The ADL is led by a former Obama admin. member and on the Jerusalem Post the ADL is treated as well as J street.
Bibi vouched for Trump, who bye the way has been a Bibi campaign contributor for a long time, they go back a long way. Trump was one of the founders of the New York Holocaust Memorial Historical center. Trump was once Grand Marshall of the Israel Day parade in New York City.
Trump’s dad Fred supplied money to build a long island Jewish Temple.

And isn’t it interesting that it is largely secular Jews pulling their hair out over Trump while Trump won the Orthodox Jewish parts of Brooklyn with larger numbers than he won the white or Evangelical vote. Subscribe to Rabbi, Daniel Lapin’s podcasts. Lapin was a yuge Trump supporter from the get go.
Actual Jews vs. secular people with Jewish last names that toss out some cliche Yiddish words in order to sound ethnic-y.
But when an Israeli reporter asked Trump about the rise in anti-Semitic harassment during the campaign and since his election....

Draining the swamp is going to create scores of butt hurt leftists, progressives, commies, reds, bolsheviks, etc., a group that just so happens to include some Jews. They are the ones running around screaming. Trump will crush them, the battle has just begun.
Misraelites are long known for making mistakes, as documented in the Old Testament. Still doing it. Why any real Jew would go progressive/liberal/socialist is beyond reasoning. Maybe it’s a type of self-flagellation. Who knows.

Israel appreciates all those great Evangelicals who know Israel just wants to live in peace as she has with Jordan and Egypt all these years. Evangelicals and other Christian friends make it possible for America under Trump to buck the world of Jew haters who also bye the way cut off Christians heads.
Actually if current demographic and political allegiances remain the same the Jewish population of New York could be a Republican block. Thelib jews are in rapid and massive demographic down trend while the Republican leaning Orthodox are growing by leaps and bound due to a very high birth rate.The Orthodox now have a 75% share of the child Jewish population stake in NYC alone.
