No. That sections shows the lastest posting on the site. It isn't solely for news and activism, otherwise it would be called out differently. Now if you want FR to make that section configurable so one can choose what topics are shown in the latest, that would be different.

I think that FR should be even MORE fragmented so that no delicate natures be perturbed in any manner.
