Can we please move the deluge of Catholic-related articles out of news/activism?

This morning, as has been the case for weeks now, over half of the articles have been about Catholic church inside baseball. While I'm sure that is of interest to some, it merely squeezes out stuff that is more interesting to others. While I appreciate the importance of the topics to a few, let's keep in mind that it is not at all to others. I don't want to start a flame war but the nuances of some Latin-named paper by some unknown cardinal in a village in Germany (just a hyperbolic example) are wholly unimportant to this good old Protestant. There is a specific forum for discussion of religion.

How about focusing on George Soros instead?

And only GOD knows how many mere Lurkers are influenced one way or the other by the C vs P ‘debate’.

I meant the numbers. However, now that you mention it, a person’s doing calculations with the post numbers is a little unusual. It reminds me of the detective in a book I read last week: he would pass the time holding on phone calls by reviewing his multiplication tables.

“Because he doesn’t claim to be saved thus God judges him, but any other person that claims to be saved I am obligated to judge them according to the gospel.”

This site is dedicated primary to politics and helping to maintain our nations freedom.

Even though I’m not Roman Catholic, I’ve been more than fair and supportive of Roman Catholicism.

The Vatican presents itself as a player in world politics. To the extent that any news item out of the Vatican touches on politics, it is fair game.

Any comments or innuendos by the pontiff on Trump or other world leaders can be in news as easily as it can be on the religion forum. Even the weakening of Catholic teaching on marriage impinges on politics due to so many divorced, high-profile Catholics being political leaders.

My sense is that such an article on marriage would actually get more hits on the religion forum than it would on the news forum, but I’m experienced in each forum and realize that all posts show on the “everything” forum.
