President Trump on Thursday falsely claimed he had the biggest Electoral College win since former President Ronald Reagan.
"I guess it was the biggest electoral college win since Ronald Reagan," he said during a heated press conference at the White House.
"In other words the media is trying to attack our administration because they know we are following through on pledges that we made and they're not happy about it, for whatever reason. But a lot of people are happy about it."
But, in 2012, former President Obama received 332 electoral votes, and in 2008 he won 365 electoral votes.

I'm starting to not like The Hill.
So what's the deal here...? Was he talking bout the massive difference in EC votes between he and Rotten... ?
306 - 232 = 74
???
...or does the media not get that?

He meant by a Republican. Either they cannot pay attention or listen, or are deliberately taking what he didn't say and putting into their own context.

But Obama had a bigger gap.
This is the same type of stupid little nothing stuff that they used to rail on Reagan about all the time. It means nothing.

He said “I guess”. He guessed wrong. Not a big deal, although I am sure that is all the MSM are going to want to talk about for the next three days.

"I guess it was the biggest electoral college win since Ronald Reagan," he said during a heated press conference at the White House. This is either a true statement or a false statement. In this case Trump made a false statement and should issue a correction.
To: MadIsh32
Yes, and Bush Sr. also had a purported 91 percent approval rating after the first Iraq War, only to lose badly to Bill Clinton who got only 42 percent of the vote. He got 426 electoral votes because Dukakis was a terrible candidate and he ran on Reagan’s third term, upon which he promptly turned his back.

Sorry that is ridiculous
Bush Sr is Bush Sr. The Presidential election in ‘88 was Bush vs Dukakis. Bush Sr got 426 EV’s.

he also went on to state that it was the biggest win for a republican since Reagan.
Guess the Hill, and others are again getting their panties in a twist.
