If it was “pain” medication that would presumably be some narcotic or opioid, not the anti-cancer agents per se.

If she really was foolish enough to combine with alcohol (alluded to in the article as a mere “sip of wine”) then that is stooopid. Probably a lot more than a “sip”....

But to be so knocked out as to be unreponsive AFTER 13 hours (according to the article) certainly suggests she took too damned much of something powerful.

I dealt with some serious pain meds during my cancer period, but I wasn’t stupid enough to combine them with alcohol.

My parents and my younger brother all died of cancer and I was there with each of them when they passed. I won’t wish that disease on anyone and refuse to crack wise about this.

but it will be EXCELLENT for her to retire and get the hello out of ‘running’ the University of Californication

a job she is incapable, unqualified for

a job that is a complete waste of taxpayer funds anyway...there are 22,000 employees of the UC SYSTEM that push papers or watch porno videos? all day....while each University Campus has its OWN grossly=overpaid President, too, and tons of people on his/her payroll ALSO!
