He certainly was squirting around DC with a suspected German spy. Pretty sure there was no marriage. FBI Dir Hoover told his father & his father used the info to get him out of DC and assigned to the Pacific.
Read Robert Caro’s book on JFK “JFK: A Question of Character”. Caro went from a lib JFK worshiper to “ not-so-much” after doing the research and writing the book.
