If you want to run for governor of New Jersey, you need to be good with names. Take the people who attended a Democratic breakfast at a meeting hall in Union County one week before Novembers presidential election. Phil Murphy seemed to know them all. He took the slow route through the crowd, shaking hands, flashing his toothy smile and scrunching his 6-foot-3 frame down into selfie range. Reaching the podium, he gave shout-outs to others on the dais and to the local party officials at the balloon-festooned tables, where eggs were being served.
Phil Murphy WILL be NJ’s next Governor.
You don’t have to wait ten months to find out.
I heard on the morning commute that Joe Piscapo (SNL fame) was considering running... they didn’t mention what party..
Ahh yes been seeing Jon Corzine II’s adverts all over the place. This champion of the poor (who was a Goldman Sachs exec) decries the evils of Wall Street. He wants all those rich folk to pay their fair share. Wants those evil corporations to pay up (nevermindimg that they are all leaving the state). He wants to end gun violence by seizing all firearms.
Oh yes, good on NJ for voting in this champion of the poor.
Yes, he will beat Guadagno by 12-20 points. NJ is going Democratic this year, most likely.
Piscopo would be running as a Republican.
Thanks to fat boy’s unpopularity NJ Republicans have a major uphill fight. But I wouldn’t surrender just yet, you shouldn’t concede anything to the communist traitor scum.
Who is the Berner whackjob in the race? It would be helpful if Murphy (who’s corporate, the far left hates that) is upset in the rat primary by a progtard that the business community is uncomfortable with.
The Berner is Assemblyman John Wisniewski of Sayreville. Very liberal. Was N.J. Democratic chair years ago.
