House Intelligence Committee chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA) said authorization would have been needed to unmask Flynn's name.

Exactly. I was responding to a post who indicated that they just happend to hear Flynn during routine Russian phone call monitoring.
This includes this provision:
50 U.S. Code § 1801 - Definitions
(h) “Minimization procedures”, with respect to electronic surveillance, means— (4)... procedures that require that no contents of any communication to which a United States person is a party shall be disclosed, disseminated, or used for any purpose or retained for longer than 72 hours unless a court order under section 1805 of this title is obtained...
IOW's It was a felony to retain records of these conversations for more than 72 hr. without a FISC order.
Quite evidently the 72hrs has long passed.
Hope Pres. Trump goes after the lawbreakers...

I think it's long past time for people to get off their collective pity wagon, and start thinking about what these recent events really mean. Trump and his supporters need to mount both an effective defense as well as develop an overall strategic plan for how to achieve complete victory.

You presume that this couldn't happen with out a written order, I doubt that is true.
Obama said he wants to be vocal after he leaves office, I say answering questions from the intelligence committee is a good place to start.

72 hrs. Sure would like to know the timeline of the FISA warrant, or rather the expiration date. The other linking articles have read on this includes.. heatst.com published on Nov. 7, 2016 and indicates the original warrant request was rejected and then rewritten/re-submitted and then approved in October 2016. This will not devolve well for the Lefties, the NYT and the WaPo... and quite a few more individuals I’d reckon. Thanks, again! Deo Vindice.
