President Trump adviser Roger Stone tweeted Tuesday that the "purge" of former national security advisor Michael Flynn is "Pearl Harbor" for Trump loyalists.
Stone blamed White House chief of staff Reince Priebus for Flynn's resignation after just 24 days on the job.
"Reince's purge of Flynn a 'Pearl Harbor' for Trump loyalists. Hope the midget is ready to rumble," wrote Stone.
Stone's tweet comes as Breitbart News, the populist right-wing website once led by President Trumps chief strategist, Stephen Bannon, published a scathing report on Tuesday stating that Priebus was responsible for the administration's rocky start while speculating that his future in the administration may also be short.
Trump named retired Army Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg as acting national security adviser following Flynn's resignation. Kellogg previously served as Flynns chief of staff on the National Security Council.
I want Bannon to get COS, KELLY Ann is starting to look VERY TIRED!!! Steve Miller can take over for Bannon!!!
LS I DO NOT trust Preibus, I REALLY WISH Bannon were the COS!!!
You could have made your point or points more simply, without the self-glorification (if it is true).
Your post about “Mike” reeks of confusion mongering, and if you had anything to do with American intelligence we all should be worried.
The only “Pearl Harbor” here is the one for dishonest Administration officials and staffers.
Trump makes his own decisions. It seems Trump wanted Flynn out. Perhaps because of management of the office or Flynn’s foreign policy views are not fully consistent with Trump, Mattis etc... Maybe he wears thin after a few weeks. In order to avoiding looking weak caving into liberal complaints about faulty memory on sanctions, have Stone put out a tweet and send the dogs after Preibus rather than Trump. Having the dogs send Preibus fleeing would be a good way to get rid of him. Maybe he was made CoS to open the RNC fund-raising to Trump’s control and he had a 30 day shelf life as CofS as Trump’s body-man. Anyway, hearing the hounds in the distance would be a good ending for the Virginia get out the vote efforts by the RNC for Trump. Maybe wrong but with Trump he is a few moves ahead and it is fun to try and follow.
Bannon is superior to COS.
Yeah? Well, Pearl Harbor ended up pissing off the USA and we destroyed Japan.
Perhaps the Dems / Liberals / Leftists and Globists should go back and study some history. If not, we (silent majority) won’t have compassion, sympathy or any tears for them. Keep pushing us and we may just extinguish them from the face of the earth.

GOOD TO KNOW, THANK YOU!!!!
Speaking rhetorically...if the media is up in arms about the Russians interfering in the election, why aren’t they equally as interested in a rogue intelligence agency trying to take down a sitting President?
What poses a greater threat? the interference from without or the treason from within?
Just asking?
Personal grudge - if Priebus had been the cause, I’d wager he would have preceded Flynn out the door. Trump hates liars and backstabbers.
You know what? You’re absolutely right.
I’m just another know-it-all sitting around in my pajamas pontificating about subjects about which I know nothing because I have nothing else to do. Sound familiar? Simple and straightforward enough without being confusing?
Quick followup:
1. I don’t communicate using bumper-sticker logic. I was accused of “whining” and the poster claimed that I had no more insight than anyone else on FR, which is not true - at least with respect to Mike Flynn’s situation, since I know him and I’ve been there myself. Not, obviously, as National Security Advisor, but pretty damned close.
2. From your response, I can only conclude that you spend a lot of time around self-promoting liars. I am curious, however; how does one self-glorify when neither you nor hardly anyone on this site know who I am? “Look at me! Oh, never mind, you can’t see me and you don’t know who I am.”
3. Just what the hell do you know about intelligence? Do you truly believe it boils down to tweets and bumper stickers?
4. I don’t know Keith Kellogg and our paths have never crossed.
5. Yes, I am a smartass. I try to hide it, but I’m not always successful. Sufficiently succinct for you?
Who friends and enemies are is irrelevant. There is only one issue: Flynn violated the cardinal rule by losing Trump’s trust. This means, knowing Steve Bannon as I do, he lost Bannon’s trust.
That’s all I need to know.
He may have lost Bannon’s trust and, by extension, the president’s, but who Flynn’s enemies are - and they are legion - is by no means irrelevant. See the latest news on Flynn facing felony charges...
And if such charges are brought, lessee, who else MUST be brought up?
Cankles. They know what they are doing.
