Couldn’t remember a call that happened since November?

"Couldnt remember a call that happened since November?"
I couldn't tell you what I had for lunch last Wednesday. I couldn't tell you exactly what topics I discussed with everyone I know over the last three months. I could tell you some of them with some certainty, but not all, and I might get mixed up whether I talked about Topic "Z" with Person "A" or Person "B."
I can tell you with certainty that I never discussed medieval Japanese literature with anyone, and I can tell you with certainty that I DID talk about Trump with several people, but I might not remember exactly what I said about Trump to any specific individual.

Here's a real-life example: several people in my local bar know that I have an elderly mother who lives in a local nursing home. The other day, a woman asked how my mother was doing, and I told her that my mother had recently been in the hospital for a few days. The woman reminded me that I had already told her that a few days earlier. I knew I had mentioned it to some people in the bar, but not to her specifically.
