Democrats demand that Flynn’s resignation spur broader Russia investigation

Democrats hold no levers of power in Washington, but they have pulled out their megaphones to demand that Mr. Flynn’s resignation open the first chapter — not the last — of investigations into contacts between Trump aides and Moscow — during and after Mr. Trump’s campaign for president.

“Nothing about this resignation, or resignations that could occur in the future, precludes the Senate Intelligence Committee from continuing to investigate Gen. Flynn, or any other campaign official who may have had inappropriate and improper contacts with Russian officials prior to the election,” said Senator Mark Warner of Virginia, the ranking Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee. “It is clear that our task is more urgent than ever.”

Thanks man. I used to box.

It seems like they think the only chance they have to knock him out is in the first round so they’re throwing everything and maybe it’s catching the administration a little off guard.

But when the flurry ends, Trump will beat the #### out of them for 11 1/2 rounds.

No team wins every inning, every time on the field, every time up the court. The right solution is to get back on subject. Make the remaining appointments and work on what he was elected on.

At least two Intel Agencies were listening to the Russian Ambassador’s phone and no doubt recording.

They briefed the WH and then someone leaked this. Probably the FBI, really gone down hill.

I’m not a troll and some others aren’t.

They are just easily worried, and in turn I get worried!!

That’s why I ask the cooler heads here to post why there is NO REASON to be worried.

I know in my head there isn’t, but i’m not articulate enough to put it to pen (type)

M Kehoe did a good job in response to me.

There are SOME trolls but it’s the internet. Hard to be 100 percent. And have to give people the benefit of the doubt unless it’s brutally obvious.

Over reach is an understatement. What’s going on here is Obama bureaucrats or spies who illegally eavesdropped on Trump’s transition team and now his administration. Gotta get these rats out and even prosecute them.

Yes, and you cannot rule out that Flynn may have rubbed others the wrong way, others who may have known what was in the report. Other people may have had motives to see him gone from the administration. They may want to protect POTUS from Flynn’s perceived diva recklessness, and they may want his job or level of influence. Again, speculation is just that.

They were spying on the Russian Ambassador. If you go to a foreign embassy or call them on the phone, it’s likely a lot of people will know about it. This happens all over the world. That Flynn didn’t know this shows how reckless he was or cavalier.

This was the NSA. One of the talking heads on CNN last night accidentally said something about the NSA source.

Oh it maybe the other way around with this group of entrenched Dim bureaucrats. I don’t buy that yet.

The bastards, RINOS included are out to impeach Trump. Suggest Trump bring in Dick Cheney as a special advisor. Cheney’s been around and would benefit Mr. Trump who is surrounded by inexperienced personnel.

For the past year and a half, at least, TID Kitty has been poping out of his pot every time there was a thread implying that Donald Trump was finished. His message is deliberately ambiguous. Is he the “freeper concern troll”? Is he calling the poster a “freeper concern troll”? Is he calling the author of the article a “concern troll”?

We will never know, because he still can’t talk, and is now busy ridding our back yard of mice, lizards, and slow moving birds. ;= However, the reaction to his appearance is always interesting. ;-)

It was a rhetorical question, here was the clue:

“given that congress is a co-equal branch of government as determined by the constitution”

One can hope this will have the same effect that the rest of their hysterics have had: further loss of their credibility and accelerated evaporation of what little power they still hold.

I’ve been called a troll more than once in my two years. And I probably will be again when I panic one day LOL. think about it. If a loved one gets sick and it’s bad you panic and sound very concerned. This country is my loved one too and I panic when I think it’s very sick. Which to me means people trying to get rid of trump. That would make me a very very unhappy camper..
