(Producer) Ehrlich has no reservations about political messages or anti-President Trump statements flying during CBS three and a half hour Grammycast.
The modern music industry is a complete train wreck.
Putting on a political sideshow is all it has left.
Just another stage for politically correct racism.
The Oscars and Grammys are nothing more than a celebration of the actors and musicians. I get bored watching people lying, grandstanding, and patting each on the back for hours. They’ve been political for years now so I don’t watch them unless I’m just flipping channels and happen to see someone I like
Grammys to be Political.
Bear to Shit in Woods.
:)
The only awards show I ever watched was the CMA awards - turned them off after the first couple “jokes” last time around and now I am awards-free in my viewing habits.
Grammies used to be awarded for best performance in a film.
Now they are awarded for the best libtard rant at the award ceremony.
They have no respect for the US Constitution, election result, or non-coastal America that voted for Prez DT.
Maybe these rich hypocrites should give back all the profits they earned in Middle America.
We’re supposed to ignore them while you post stories all about them? Gak...
I might ignore the politics and watch if the music scene had something worth paying attention to.
Exactly!!!
They have disdain for the people who made them rich.
And the American majority will boycott
The best part was Alice announcing the winner.

But don’t go rippin’ on Ian, man.
He can rock with the best of them.

And his music will be around long after Metallica is forgotten.
Most of those people, I’ve never even heard of.
How many freaking rap categories *are* there, now?
If “The Sound Of Silence” Disturbed does not win, this show is invalid.
I’m willing to bet that every category in which Bowie is entered, he will win.
Because, dead.
In other News, water is wet and the Sun rises in the East.
I assumed it would be, and planned NOT to watch, as I always do.
This would also work well, if there was specific counter-programming that could elevate it a full share or even two above their norm ...
“Were supposed to ignore them while you post stories all about them?”
So I am supposed to encourage you not watch an awards show about which I am not sure you are informed? Sorry for the interruption.
We just came back from dinner and number 1 son wanted me to look up the categories and see if Skrillet got shut out again (he did, due to G's ridiculous posture that EDM belongs with Dance).
At any rate, I also noted that Bowie could easily sweep posthumously - he is up against shite, and Darkstar was a weird yet occasionally luminous excursion...particularly when racked against the accompanying vids made just up to two months before his death. Here was a dead man walking making his own funeral mass. How few times has anyone pulled that off in post-modern music, which celebrates only youth?
Most rockers don’t get a 3 minute warning.
They just OD or whatever so yeah, it’s a first.
