Jonathan Winters had Carson rolling off his chair with some of the spontaneous things he would do with a prop on the Tonight Show.
He didn't have to say a word -- the laughs came with his facial expressions and perfect timing.
How we could stand to have more comedians with Jonathan Winters' talent . . .

For those who don't know; he was a US marine in WWII.
Many, many of the great entertainers of his generation served in the military.
They were patriots, unlike most of the modern day entertainers.
