I have New Balance and also some of the Skechers “walking shoes that are supposed to tone your legs” - both have good arch support and have a bit of a lift to the heel (I can’t wear total flat shoes either). Both have worn very well.

My sister has planter fasciitis and I had it for a while as did one of my girlfriends. Clark’s makes great shoes. They can be a little pricey, but you can sometimes find them on sale at Macy’s, a Clarks store in a mall and probably online. I have a pair of slip-on “clogs” that I’ve had for years and love them. My sister has several pair.

I wear Clarks “Unstructured” shoes. I have a pair in black and one in brown. In the summer I wear sandals.

I guess part of my problem is I DO NOT enjoy going shopping. The one time I decided to go to the mall and Macy's I asked if they carried 5 1/2 wide. The guy told me if they did they would be out there and pointed to the hundreds of shoes they had on display. I was out of there in no time.
