Met Romney once during the 2008 campaign, he was going into a rally just leaving his car, had his son with him and grandson, it was cold out.
His grandson had no shoes or socks on and had a terrible snotty nose. Son told Mitt he was taking him to a doctor. I wanted to say, put something on that kids feet.
The shoes reminded me of a pair of leather shoes that were passed down between the cousins as a kid Both the girls and boys wore them. Remember wearing several pairs of socks so my feet didn’t swim in them.
Funny how memories come back with just a picture of shoes.
