“To think he has to moderate down to stop impeachment is crazy talk.”

Who said he has to “moderate down”? Whatever that means.

Withholding disaster funds is NOT a conservative position. It is what Obama did. Do you understand the concept of a Pyrrhic victory? Save a few $100 million now to make a point, then be roasted by the media through to election day 2018, when even more illegals could vote (they may well see it as a survival issue), and end up losing trillions in the progressive landslide?

Seriously, exactly what is achieved by what you propose? What about conservatives who live in the affected areas?

I say leave this disaster funding issue alone, and send 30,000 soldiers to the border. Wipe the voter lists, get rid of motor voter, enforce e-verify, 15% tax on foreign cash transfers targeted to folks who make cash income, build the wall where feasible, deport criminal aliens as a start, prosecute alien vote fraud hard (then deport with permanent ban on re-entry) etc. These are things that a majority of the population will see as simply enforcing our laws. Withholding disaster funds will be seen as vindictive by many.

The federal government is not required to give any money for any disaster.

Where do you get off thinking that Trump’s unwillingness to give out money is something that will get him impeached? You haven’t provided anything to begin to cover your position. It sure isn’t in the Constitution.
