If the disaster meets the threshold of an emergency declaration by federal standards, then it should be provided regardless of what anyone thinks of their idiot governor. FEMA can review and approve CA’s requests as I’m certain the CA govt will try to rip us off, but I understand people have died and a lot of property was damaged.
If you think Trump popping off publicly and hanging money over his head IF the need is really there will work out for us, you are sadly mistaken. The blow back would be ridiculous.
Honestly I’d have to go back and compare to other disasters to see how this compares. I do hold out the possibility Brown is using this as a trap for Trump.

Trump must do the politically correct thing and not use this as leverage...however, Trump plays the long game. I’ll never forget the photo released by Trump’s people of Mittens eating frogs legs at Trump Tower.
If California would disenfranchise and offer up its illegal aliens, the state would have a budget surplus, plenty of water for Americans, and not need help.
Besides, what is a little rain? Especially as they have been crying drought for years.
