Great news, but I would urge the Trump administration to “trust but verify.” Make sure these cities aren’t just saying what the administration wants to hear in order to save their funding. They must first demonstrate actual cooperation with ICE, and if at any point going forward they drag their feet then funding should still be pulled on the spot.
