BART may designate itself a sanctuary transit system

BART, whose trains carry riders between a number of Bay Area sanctuary cities, will consider adopting its own policy protecting undocumented immigrants from the federal government.

The BART board decided to consider a measure proposed Thursday by directors Nick Josefowitz of San Francisco and Lateefah Simon of Oakland. “Recent studies indicate that there are over 500,000 undocumented immigrants living in the Bay Area. Many of these immigrants ride BART every day,” Josefowitz said, adding that they should feel safe aboard BART.

BART gets about $50 million a year in direct Federal funding. They also receive indirect subsidies from Federal transportation grants and assistance to low income families.

Here’s the thing “sanctuary people”; if all of us go around obeying just the laws we want to instead of the laws we all live under we have what you might call chaos because all laws become moot. For instance if person “A” doesn’t like person “B” and shoots that person without having to worry about the consequences of that action kinda like your notion of sanctuary cities, states, and travel lines, all hell breaks loose.

So get on board with the US Constitution or leave America for a land that has laws you can live with or a lack of laws you can live with.

So simple even a liberal democrat can understand it.
