NFL Warns Texas There Could Be Consequences for 'Bathroom Bill'
weekly standard citing houston chronicle ^ | 2/10/2017 | Chris Deaton

Days after the Super Bowl in Houston, the NFL is warning Texas that legislation requiring individuals to use public bathrooms in accordance with their biological sex could cost the state future opportunities to host the big game.

"If a proposal that is discriminatory or inconsistent with our values were to become law (in Texas), that would certainly be a factor considered when thinking about awarding future events," NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said in an email response to a Chronicle question about the bill.

Who is Bathroom Bill?

Is he anything like Crazy George, the guy who used to beat that drum in the Astrodome?

All these jerks talk about “their values” but never tell us exactly what those “values” are! One “value” is surely getting the gullible public to go into hock for million of taxpayer dollars to build them “facilities” in which to “operate their businesses,” then when they are “dissatisfied” with what “they’ve been given,” moving to the next city to fleece!

NFL is a bunch of clowns. Why not concern themselves with issues such as concussions or NFL players beating up women or doing steroids? No, they go all out to pressure states regarding bathroom issues.

This leaves the impression NFL players are eager to get into women's restrooms.

“Texas has fantastic high school football with over 1700 teams in public and private schools. We have great college football throughout the state. These games mean a lot more to us than those of our two NFL teams.”

Well, collectively, you Texans have the ability to send these “professional thieves” that masquerade as sports teams, packing. Just don’t bond yourselves into long-term debt to give these a$$holes places to play. Think about the cascading effect this would have on the Media. All that ad revenue going away will hurt them too. It’s a Two-Fer!

I read the article to find out who 'Bathroom Bill' was. Seems Bill is neither a he nor a she.

"But today I am still just a Bill..."

Heck folks I have boycotted NFL all season and even the super bowl...

...

I did want to see Brady and the rest of Trump’s friends on the team get their revenge, and they did. Now I can go back to my boycott.

Screw the NFL. How did they ever get the idea that they are the arbiters of morality, that they have the right to dictate the religious views of America?

For the first time in decades, I did not watch the Super Bowl this year. Not one minute.

I wobbled a bit; watched maybe 4-5 games as opposed to about 35-40 in recent years. Did not watch the Super Bowl.

The Commissioner works for the owners and, like him or not, Jerry Jones is one of the most influential team owners. How long will the Commissioner last after denying Jerry World a Super Bowl?

The NFL is dead. ESPN is dead. San Diego wisely said no to citizen funded Stadium. Chargers left good for them. LA doesn't want them either.
CA won’ let its universities play in these states; North Carolina, Kansas, Tennessee and Mississippi. Guess Jerry can add Texas to that list. You represent all the people is California. It just those who are adding or taking away their balls.

I’ve been tempted to say, “Let’s Berkeley any institution that WE don’t like.” If we Berkleyed the NFL headquarters, the TV news stations, newsrooms, campus administrations, they would take us seriously. They would suddenly get it. We are VERY close to that point.

Bathroom Bill is who tells Tranny Annie where she can put her fanny. Or where she can’t.
