“Texas has fantastic high school football with over 1700 teams in public and private schools. We have great college football throughout the state. These games mean a lot more to us than those of our two NFL teams.”
Well, collectively, you Texans have the ability to send these “professional thieves” that masquerade as sports teams, packing. Just don’t bond yourselves into long-term debt to give these a$$holes places to play. Think about the cascading effect this would have on the Media. All that ad revenue going away will hurt them too. It’s a Two-Fer!
Just dont bond yourselves into long-term debt to give these a$$holes places to play.

I agree with you about owners who demand that cities fund them a new stadium. ...There are exceptions:
Jerry Jones paid over $1B for Cowboys Stadium (now AT&T stadium).
Arlington furnished streets and other infrastructure. As Cowboy games typically draw 80k-95k attendance, plus the many other events like bull riding, concerts, motorbike racing, etc., throughout the year.
The city has gained many hotels, restaurants and shopping areas, as a result. The city and its taxpayers have had a boom to the city’s economy.
