White House hints at NEW travel ban order to dodge court battle

White House hints at NEW travel ban order to dodge court battle - as Trump blasts 'disgraceful' ruling upholding freeze on his current one

A federal appeals court in San Francisco released its ruling tonight on President Donald Trump's controversial travel ban - saying it would not reinstate it

Trump responded by taking to Twitter and writing in all caps: 'SEE YOU IN COURT, THE SECURITY OF OUR NATION IS AT STAKE!'

He also called the ruling 'disgraceful'

The president also told reporters in the West Wing Thursday night that the ruling was a 'political decision' Now the White House is also saying that rewriting the order isn't 'off the table'

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals decided it would not block a lower-court ruling that suspended the ban Last week, a Seattle-based judge issued a temporary restraining order halting the ban after Washington state and Minnesota sued the U.S. government

Hillary Clinton chimed in with a tweet trolling the president, simply writing '3-0'

The White House is floating a new way to counter a stunning appeals court ruling that set back President Trump's immigration order – redrafting the order in a way that could take effect immediately and be more resistant to legal challenge.

President Trump signaled an unmistakable instinct to fight for his original order Thursday night when bluntly told opponents: 'See you in court!' after criticizing judges who stood in his path.

But now, the White House is also laying out an alternative path. Asked if the president was considering signing a new executive order on immigration, a White House official told CNN, '"Nothing's off the table."

Whoever plagiarized the Obama EO, in writing the first ‘new’ EO, is probably at home filling out his OF612, and attachments, right now.

The ‘blanket ban’ leaves no loopholes or unturned stones, for those bassard judges to muck with!

THANK GOD for a man who won’t back down.

Yes, that's for sure.

I'm hoping the GOP, especially the GOPe takes some lessons from Trump. You don't deal with the left by, "Oh Gee, what will the polls say, what will NYT and the Post say, what will CNN say, will this affect my reelection?"

The left is the enemy. Period. Don't deal with them except by strength and force. If you're nicey-nicey and "Work across the aisle", they'll only demand more.

No quarter with the left. They have become domestic enemies and are working with Islam to destroy America as we know it. Both are domestic enemies and need to be dealt with as such.

Go Trump! Fight for America, her Citizens and the Constitution!

I don’t know, except apparently there are people already approved wanting to get in, and Trump wants to temporarily halt it until they can get a handle on the situation. For national security, social and financial reasons, I would like to see it mostly halted except for a few people actually in danger. We will turn out like Europe if we take more than we can absorb. We need to have them assimilate or go home.

he can write a new Exec Order temporarily banning ALL immigration until Vetting is in place

I like it! A general immigration moratorium is long overdue.

Some emergency exceptions could be made on a case-by-case basis, but each one would have to be subject to "extreme vetting."

If it was done correctly it wouldn’t have been via the courts, as the law is on Trump’s side. All he needs to do is tweet it a little and make sure the agencies carry out the order in an organized manner, and I don’t believe anyone has any standing to taken it to court.

I heard that in response to Hillary’s snarky “3-0,” Kellyanne Conway snarked back, “MI - WI - PA.”

Here is what is going on in Europe. Isis has a load of passports that are so real no one can tell they are not.
They are already showing up in Europe. Anyone think that might happen here as well? How much of an argument does Trump have to make for extreme vetting or even a halt to migration?

ISIS are using sophisticated fake Syrian and Iraqi passports to smuggle jihadists into Europe amid the migrant crisis, British intelligence has warned.

Extremists are exploiting the flow of migrants into Europe by posing as refugees and using new identities to avoid detection by border officials, officials say.

The warning has sparked fears terrorist sleeper cells are being set up in Britain and other EU nations.

Intelligence and security agencies are said to be ‘very mindful’ of the possibility that ISIS are using refugee routes across the continent, the Daily Telegraph reports.

A senior British intelligence official told the newspaper: ‘Islamic State is skilfully exploiting the migrant crisis to smuggle terror cells from Syria into major European countries such as the UK.

‘Jihadists travel to Raqqa to meet up with (ISIS) commanders, where they receive training and new passports.

‘They then make their way back to Europe posing as migrants with new identities, making it virtually impossible for security officials to detect potential terrorists among those fleeing persecution.’

Hundreds of Britons are said to have made their way to join ISIS - and there are fears many have since returned to the UK.

The chairman of the commons home affairs committee, Keith Vaz, described the issue as ‘deeply concerning’ adding that it was ‘vital’ that resources were found to ‘secure the external border’ to prevent Paris-style atrocities.

The French interior minister Bernard Cazeneuve (pictured) warned ISIS has formed an entire ‘industry’ out of making fake passports stolen in Iraq

It comes a day after French officials warned ISIS has formed an entire ‘industry’ out of making fake passports stolen in Iraq, Syria and Libya.

The French interior minister Bernard Cazeneuve made the claim as he argued for the creation of a special task force to travel to Greece to help clamp down on stolen or fake passports.

At least two of the ISIS extremists who launched a murderous attack in Paris in November are suspected to have used established migrant routes through Europe pretending to be refugees and using Syrian passports.

The forged documents were found at the scene of one of the suicide bomb attacks at the Stade de France, further fueling speculation that ISIS may have a ready source of blank passports.

Some analysts at the time of the attacks suggested that the discovery of the Syrian passports was in no way conclusive that the jihadis had used them to enter Europe.

The documents may have been deliberately planted to stir up hatred and distrust towards migrants, particularly refugees fleeing the war in Syria.

Slovak prime minster Robert Fico suggested the EU was committing ‘ritual suicide’ with its migration policy

Yesterday, the Slovak prime minster Robert Fico suggested the EU was committing ‘ritual suicide’ with its migration policy.

He urged the 28-member bloc to stop the inflow of migrants and called the EU’s proposed quota system for distributing migrants a ‘complete fiasco’.

His warning came as the Netherlands’ EU commissioner Frans Timmermans claimed 60 per cent of those flocking to Europe were economic migrants and not fleeing from war.

The 51-year-old Slovak leader, a left-winger known for his anti-immigrant rhetoric, told Czech newspaper Pravo: ‘I feel that we in the EU are now committing ritual suicide and we’re just looking on.’

Holland’s EU commissioner Frans Timmermans claimed more than half of those coming to Europe as asylum seekers are not fleeing conflict.

He told Nos: ‘More than half of the people now coming to Europe come from countries where you can assume they have no reason whatsoever to ask for refugee status. More than half, 60%.’

He said he based his claim on figures from European border agency Frontex - statistics that are yet to be made public.

The ninth “Circus” is not called that out of the blue, its “decisions” are reversed over 80% of the time.
http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2017/02/liberal-ninth-circuit-court-overturned-average-80-time/

following from NRO:

“Although recent years have seen other circuits competing with the Ninth Circuit for the title of “Most Reversed,” the Ninth still appears to hold the unquestioned title. The Ninth Circuit’s best showing in recent years was October Term 2009, with a 60 percent reversal rate in the 15 cases on which certiorari was granted. The Sixth Circuit got the prize for highest reversal rate that year, with seven cases resulting in seven reversals, while the Seven Circuit came in a close second (91 percent reversal rate in eleven cases).

But in 2010, perhaps seeking to reclaim its position at the top of the heap, the Ninth Circuit was reversed a startling 19 times (79 percent), three times as many reversals as most circuits had cases before the Supreme Court. The same pattern continued in the 2011 (71 percent) and 2012 terms (86 percent), when the Ninth Circuit was reversed more than twice as many times as most circuits had cases before the Court.”

Thanks to me if you know a terror group has the ability to create near perfect ID’s doesn’t that require some extra vetting of most anyone coming from the area? Seems like common sense to me.

I agree and think the 90 day hold up is a good step towards protecting us from turning into Europe.

As far as allowing folks in on an “emergency” basis. Ok, as long as they are settled in a sort of quarantine facility until they are totally vetted under the new and more stringent rules to be announced.
